By Seyi Babalola

President Bola Tinubu has pledged that the terrorists responsible for the bomb attack in Borno State will face severe consequences.

Tinubu gave the warning while denouncing the bomb blasts that killed and injured people in Borno State’s Gwoza Local Government Area.

He described the incident as a desperate act of terror, clear evidence of the strain placed on terrorists and the progress gained in reducing their ability to conduct offensives.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President stated that the perpetrators of wanton violence will face justice because his administration would not allow the country to descend into a period of fear, tears, sadness, and blood.

“The President states that his administration is taking necessary measures to secure citizens, emphasizing that efforts will be redoubled to ensure that those who trouble the nation, dispatching precious lives, and disrupting law and order are completely removed.”

President Tinubu also expressed condolences to the victims of the attacks, the families of the deceased, and the government and people of Borno State.
