Super Eagles ace, Victor Boniface has addressed his reduced playing time compared to last season’s with Bayer Leverkusen.

The Nigerian told Bayer04Xtra, “I don’t really think about those things. There’s a lot of media talk about me—’Boni this, Boni that’—without people truly knowing who I am. But, as I said, I don’t really care.

“I’m just trying to help the team. It doesn’t really matter how much I’m playing; when I’m on the pitch, I try to contribute just like the other players. We’re all giving 100% for the fans because they deserve it.”
