A distraught businesswoman has cried out for help after her salesgirl identified simply as Lucy bolted with gold and diamonds worth N100 million from her store.

The businesswoman, who owns Flawless Elegance Luxury Jewelry Store, shared her ordeal in a video clip posted on her store’s verified page on Instagram, @Flawless_Elegance_.

The yet-to-be-identified businesswoman disclosed that the salesgirl took advantage of her absence to clear the goods from her store before vanishing into thin air.

In another video shared on her page, she disclosed that the suspect had been employed less than two months before committing the act.

The businesswoman, who can be seen crying profusely in the video, said she endured a lot to be able to establish and build up her business.

She urged Nigerians to help her in locating the fleeing salesgirl.

She said, “Please help me. I need help with the way you people call those that steal from you out and they get arrested. I don’t know what I did wrong. She (Lucy) cleared everything; all the gold section, everything.

“She made away with everything; all the investments that I have made throughout my life. I never went to meet anyone to beg to start my business.

“Everything that you guys are seeing is not about luck, it is about the sacrifice that I made and all the prayers I have made to my Lord. Nobody deserves this, even the most wicked person on earth.”

The businesswoman appended a message: ‘Wanted: Help us find Lucy’ to the post.

According to the message, Lucy absconded with gold and diamond valued at N100 million.

The message read, “On Monday, our trusted sales rep, Lucy, betrayed our trust and made away with all the gold and diamond jewellery from Flawless Elegance Luxury Jewelry Store—valued at ₦100,000,000.

“We’ve displayed her photo in the video—please watch closely and share widely. If you have any information about her whereabouts or notice anyone selling luxury jewelry under suspicious circumstances, kindly reach out to us immediately.”
