A Bishop of Methodist Church of Nigeria (MCN), Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha has lauded Governor Alex Otti on the prevailing peace in Abia State since he became governor of the state.

Bishop Onuoha stated this in Umuahia during a musical festival organized by his organization, Vision Africa International Radio.

He disclosed that this year’s event’s theme, “Let there Peace”, which was the 10th Edition was apt, as according to him, where there was no peace the economy would not blossom.

He said there has been prevailing peace in Abia and invited all to come over to the state and feel the relative peace that is prevailing since Dr Otti assumed office as the Governor of the state.

“I believe in character, and whatever you are doing without character is bankruptcy”, Bishop Onuoha said.

Otti, speaking, noted that a new Abia was here for everybody to witness.
Represented by Caleb Ajagba, his Chief of Staff, Otti appreciated Bishop Onuoha for his vision in organizing the concert over all these years.

Otti pledged his government would partner with Vision Africa International Radio in subsequent outings in order to discover hidden talents that abound in the state.

Speaking also, Hon Amobi Oga, member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the Lower Chambers of the National Assembly, noted that the theme of this year’s event was apt particularly this period that the administration of Dr Alex Otti needs peace to right the wrongs perpetuated by past administrations in the state.

He pledged to continue to partner with Vision Africa in her future endeavours.

A 15 -year old student of Queen of Queens Girls Secondary School, Mbano, Imo State, Miss Mary Joseph emerged the winner of the 2023 Icons ” Music Reality Show” organized by Vision Africa Radio, Umuahia.

She went home N500,000 star prize, the 2nd prize of N300, 000, went to Victor Chizurum Ngwakwe, while the 3rd prize of N200, 000 was won by Aso Chidinma Mercy.

In addition, Hon Ogah gave N100,000 to each of the 10 contestants.
