About three years after she ended her first marriage, Meram, one of the daughters of billionaire oil magnate and founder of Oriental Energy Resources Limited, Dr. Muhammadu Indimi, has found love again. Last weekend, Meram tied the knot with her new lover and Turkish businessman, Yakup Gundogdu.
The billionaire’s daughter, who runs a health and beauty brand, SkinnySeung, was previously married to politician Baffa Dandatti Abdulkadir. They tied the knot in 2018 at a fairytale wedding ceremony that shook the bustling city of Maiduguri but unfortunately fell out of love soon after.
Just two weeks into the marriage; Meram dropped a hint on the social media about how difficult it was for her to move from her dad’s place into her matrimonial home. And a year into her marriage with Baffa, Meram took to social media again to open up about her struggles with depression and anxiety. Shortly after, Meram and her then husband went their separate ways.
But three years down the line, family members and friends of Meram, including her mother and sisters, were so excited to see their girl fall in love and tie the knot again at the family mansion in Maiduguri, Borno State last Saturday 12 August.
The traditional Kamu proceeding had in attendance, among others, governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Zulum. Many of them took to the social media to express their joy and prayed for the bride as she started a new chapter in her life with Yakup, her Turkish beau. Meram is one of the three Indimi gorgeous sisters. Others are Adama and Mairama.
