A group under the aegis of The Congress of Nigeria Youths (CONYO), on Saturday, awarded the two co-founders of Besitz Group Limited, Isa Abass Usman and Michael Onyeachor Nnamdi as “icons of societal transformation”.

The young duo were recognised due to their high-ranking impacts in the real estate sector across the country.

Presenting the awards tagged ‘National Outstanding Leadership Award’ at the company’s head office in Abuja, the secretary of CONYO, Muhammed Saleem, said, “In recognition of your outstanding commitment to excellence, youth empowerment and immense contribution towards development of Nigeria’s Economic and Developmental Growth via real estate sector.”

He congratulated the energetic co-founders and charged them to continue to impact the society because Nigeria needs more of them to be at the top.

Speaking, Usman said he’s overwhelmed by the recognition, adding, “the result of every good work is to see the impact materialise in your immediate environment. I can’t but appreciate the organiser for counting me worthy of this precious and merit honour.

“I will continue to give my best and make sure that Besitz group becomes a global brand competing among other recognized and top brands.

“This is just the beginning, watch us do more in no distant time,” he stressed.

In his own reaction, Nnamdi asserted that the beauty of the award is that it wasn’t lobbied for.

“I was even surprised to receive a call that my colleague and I are recipients of a leadership award for our contribution to the development of real estate sector.

“We are not the type of people that go on to lobby for awards. Honours chase us because we know what we are doing and are investing more efforts to do more.

“We are practically developing the ‘rural area’ of Abuja to rival with the urban part having seen the problem of housing defiance people face in the country, he added.
