Nigeria’s popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) has maintained its cash prize of N100 million and a brand new SUV, among other prizes for the season 9 edition.
According to earlier reports from the event organisers, the 9th season will be historic as it’s the first time contestants will enter the game in duo.
Setting the stage for unprecedented alliances and thrilling competition, the show’s organiser MultiChoice Nigeria disclosed that this edition will uphold the high standards of entertainment and drama expected from the reality show series.
For a total of 71 days, contestants with diverse backgrounds from across the country will compete for the grand prize of N100m, a brand-new SUV, amongst many other prizes.
The Executive head of content and channels, West Africa at Multichoice, Busola Tejumola said: “We are delighted to introduce a brand-new season of Big Brother Naija. The excitement on social media and the curiosity about this ninth season have been incredible.
“The theme for this season will be announced at the premiere as housemates enter the house in pairs.
“This innovative format promises to deliver fresh dynamics and unforgettable entertainment.”
Tejumola also confirmed the return of ‘The Buzz,’ a Showmax exclusive recap show featuring Toke Makinwa, for the upcoming season.
