The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Baptist Academy Old Students Association (BAOSA) has appointed High Chief Tony Akiotu, a 1977 alumnus, as the Protem Chairman of the Abuja Region.

Known for his distinguished background and leadership expertise, Akiotu is expected to bring renewed energy and vitality to the region, marking a significant milestone for BAOSA’s Abuja chapter.

In his new role, High Chief Akiotu will focus on revitalising the Abuja Region by fostering unity and promoting BAOSA’s core values. The NEC has tasked him with engaging ex-students, organising a reunion, and building a robust community of Baptist Academy alumni in the region. His leadership is anticipated to steer the Abuja Region toward a vibrant future.

Akiotu, a seasoned leader, previously served as the Group Managing Director of DAAR Communications Plc from 2010 to 2024, where he showcased exceptional leadership and management skills. His appointment reflects BAOSA’s confidence in his ability to drive growth and development within the Abuja Region.
