Chairman of Everyday Foods Group of Companies Ltd, Dr. Magnus Chukwuekezie , has stated that, his experience in the banking sector, has helped him to succeed in business.
Chukwuekezie stated this, at the company’s office in Uyo, where he bared his mind, on his journey so far, and his challenges.
I have worked in the bank for over 20 years, and I have related with lots of persons, from young, old, and so on. What you learn from the banking sector is how to create and sustain social capital. You share in the every day joys and frustrations of people and sharing in finding solutions to their worries.
When you are able to manage the customers that come to the bank, some with anger, some with a level of dissatisfaction, then you can manage any business.
Humans are difficult to manage, because, while trying to resolve an issue for one person, the other person also needs your attention.
You have to be skillful and prudent in your resources, with such experience, you can manage whatever responsibility you’re assigned, outside the banking hall, he stated.
