Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, have urged the people of Yauri emirate to vote for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu and the gubernatorial, Nasir Idris.

They made the call in Yauri town during the official flag off of APC zonal rally.

Bagudu told party supporters that President Muhammadu Buhari has asked him to tell the people to vote for Tinubu and Idris because they were elected in a free and fair party’s primaries.

Bagudu, who commended the immediate past governor, Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, for accepting to be the campaign director general, said few people lost at the party’s primaries, crossed over to other parties where their primaries have been completed.

He said Yauri emirate have benefitted a lot from the APC government, especially on township road construction, electricity projects among others.

Malami said the ruling party has done a lot for the people of Kebbi in the area of appointment of citizens of the state into most important agencies in the country.

He said about six federal agencies have the citizens of Kebbi State as their heads.

“All what the party need from you and all of us now is support towards successful election Tinubu and Idris,” he said.

Malami, who noted that only God gives power to whoever He wishes, said APC has put an end to about N1.6 trillion spends on importation of rice, with over 800 tonnes production of paddy rice produce annually in Nigeria by local rice farmers.

Muhammad Mogoro urged the people to ensure they collect their PVCs and vote for all the APC candidates from the presidential and gubernatorial to the House of Assembly.

Earlier, state Chairman of APC, Abubakar Zuru, commended the people of Yauri for coming out en masse to attend the rally.

He said APC has performed very well in many aspects and urged them to vote for the party for continuity of good policies and more dividends of democracy .

The rally was also attended by Bala Ibn Na’Allah, immediate past governor of the state, Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, and other APC chieftains.
