Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has drawn the battle lines with the Ebubeagu security outfit in Imo State following the alleged recent killings of 14 youths at Awomama on Sunday by the outfit.

IPOB, in a statement, by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, yesterday, equally placed a N2 million bounty on the commander of Imo State Ebubeagu security outfit, asking for useful information to bring him to justice over the alleged killings of the youths.

However, the Department of State Service (DSS) has owned up to the killing of the youths who they said were bandits neutralised at their camp and not at a wedding function as claimed.

“The head of this murderous militia named Ebube-Agu in Imo State is one drug and cult leader returnee from Mozambique….As a result of his murderous terrorist activities against our people, IPOB hereby declares this Ebube-Agu commander in Imo State wanted. He is now a wanted person in Biafraland. Anybody who gives useful information about him and what will lead to the capture of this murderer will get a reward of N2 million from IPOB.

“Eastern Security Network (ESN) Imo State command has also been given a matching order to look for him to account for the innocent blood of Biafrans his criminal gang has wasted.

“He can’t hide forever because the gods of the land is against him and his sponsors. We enjoin every Biafran, especially Imo people to be on the lookout for him and give us useful information about his movements. We must hold him to account for the innocent people he has wasted in cold blood,” Powerful said in the statement.

While condemning the Awomama massacre, IPOB dismissed a sit-at-home ordered by a faction of the group led by Simon Ekpa, former directorate of operation of the group based in Finland.

Powerful claimed that Ekpa’s numerous orders have been responsible for the blackmail of the group.

“We, therefore, urge our people to ignore the meaningless and senseless order from a Nigeria agent to sit-at-home order.

“Ekpa has no mandate to issue a sit-at-home order using IPOB. Therefore, our people must ignore such senseless infiltrators rant and go about your normal business, we have no business with the criminal, the female nude seller who causes pain to the people of Biafra,” Powerful said.
