ASHE Foundation think-tank congratulates Alaafin-elect Owoade and states that his reign will be profound being the beginning of a new 165 year Olokun cycle of leadership consciousness and most important, the first Alaafin in the new 2000yr Age of Shango. Therefore Alaafin Owoade enthronement is a momentous turning point in the history of Yoruba and the Ifa civilization.

The people now known as Yorubas, genetically dated to be at least 87,000 years old by Harvard Medical School (S.Mallick 2016), are the source of the world’s first knowledge bank and religion, Ifa, the sixteen sector indigenous African Information Retrieval System, which is the root of indigenous African civilizational identity and values shared by all South and Middlebelt ethnicities, whose philosophies and scientific spirituality spread to the rest of the Niger Congo ethnolinguistic family that extends to South Africa.

The 2022 end of Alaafin Adeyemi reign was the end of the 165 year Olokun cycle of consciousness leadership fashioned by Abrahamic coloniality that started with Alaafin Atiba’s crowning by the Ilorin Afro-Arabic Islamic civilization, and his social reforms, the most significant of which was ending the killing of Alaafin’s first born in succession processes, so this deviation of using solely Ifa is a reset to Ifa civilization. A pivotal start of Ifa civilizational Renaissance since its not only a start of a new 165 year Olokun cycle that is decolonial, but also the start of the new 2000 year Age of Shango of universal Justice, digital economy and Black Renaissance. Also, a switch of humanity from the several millennia era of scientific materialism that started in the 4000BC Age of Osun/Taurus of monumental architecture, to this new Age of scientific spiritualism, not witnessed since the beginning of Ifa in the 6000BC Age of Esu/Gemini.

It is a great pleasure to witness Professor Wande Abimbola, one of the world’s foremost Ifa practitioners, crown his life long achievements in Ifa with this midwifery of the selection of Alaafin based on solely on pure Ifa – a clear sign of the dawn of scientific spiritualism needed for the Renaissance of the indigenous African civilization. We congratulate Governor Seyi Makinde for the brave decisive action to cleanse the selection process that has been corrupted by coloniality over time – a pivotal action required at the cusp of the Age of Shango (Justice) that changes the mantra from Might is Right to Right is Might. We implore the Governor to complete the process to avoid doubt by prosecuting to the full extent of the law all those found guilty, in order to send a warning to those corrupting our traditional institutions.

There would be resistance to change and evolution to a higher level of consciousness, as witnessed exactly 165 years ago when Neptune was at the same point emitting Olokun essences of consciousness leadership, resulting in the 1860 Ijaye War against the change in part of the selection process of killing the firstborn of Alaafin. This strong resistance to change in leadership consciousness was also exhibited in the 1961 Lagos Colonization War and 1861 USA Civil War on states rights on slavery. In this Apocalyptic period all those that resist change will be swept into the dustbin of history.

Alaafin Owoade must appreciate the cosmic reason for his selection to lead Oyo, Yoruba and the indigenous African civilization based on the very Ifa that brought him to office. Born with strong Obaluaye (Structure) and Osun (love) essences, the new Alaafin has it in him to strengthen the civilizational structure with Osun brotherly love and common origins to uplift Oyo, Yoruba and the Black Race. There can be no Yoruba Renaissance without an Indigenous African civilization renaissance because in practice the world is divided along civilizations, and no single ethnicity, not to talk of subethnic group, can compete globally without a strong civilizational backing. Alaafin Owoade must be wary of Eurocentric neocolonial scholars that denigrate Ifa as mere geomancy inherited from Arabs, and those that restrict Ifa to the coloniallly inspired tribal jackets, in order to divide and rule the indigenous African civilization.

In 2019, ASHE Foundation joined the public debate between Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye

Ogunwusi and Alaafin Lamidi Adeyemi, when the Alaafin wrongly advised by

Eurocentric scholars countered Ooni of Ife’s civilizational perspective of shared genetic and cultural origins across the South. Alaafin Adeyemi claimed that the only precolonial relationship was with the Northern Afro-Arabic civilization and denied any genetic or cultural relationship with Igbos. ASHE countered with indisputable genetic and cultural evidences that all Indigenous Africans belong to a single civilization whose source was Ife, with shared cultural values shaped by Ifa known as Iha in Benin, Afa in Igbo, Fa in Igala etc. Before the Abrahamic invasion of Northern Islamists and Crusader Europeans, indigenous Africans enjoyed vibrant civilizational relationships.

The new Alaafin is implored to end the divisive colonially inspired Pan Tribalistic perspectives that only serve to divide and rule the Ifa civilization. Unfortunately the Ogun essences of Oranmiyan, Ajaka, Prince Ogun/Oba Ewuare got exploited by

Abrahamic imperialists philosophy of Warring Gods – Jehovah God of War and Mohammed sword of Jihad, to develop the Ogun economic system of slaves for arms to build empires by Oyo, Edo, Igala etc. Eventually Europeans used superior gunpower to defeat and colonize our subregional Ogun Ajagungbade supremacists, so as the world now moves from the Mantra of Might is Right to Right is Might, the indigenous African civilization must unite with Osun (shared origins) and Shango (Justice/Digital economy) to regain our global racial parity.

In addition to the financially lucrative strengthening of cultural ties with the dollar rich Ifa Diaspora, often organized by cultural entrepreneurs, for sustainable political and economic civilizational power, Alaafin Owoade should engage local synergies to unite our Ifa-Afa-Iha-Fa-Efa civilization, especially with our South and Middlebelt genetic and cultural siblings of 80,000 years. Oyo’s 500 year inter-civilizational flirting with the AfroArabic civilization, through three Olokun 165 year conscious leadership cycles, and two

Oya 250yr revolutionary change cycles brought pivotal changes. Starting with the early 1500s Nupe invasion that drove Oyo Royal Court to Igboho and the Borgu Fulani cultural sphere, which inspired 1680s Oyo’s imperialistic growth, and 1835 fall, the 1837 enthronement of Atiba Islamized dynasty, the 1849 invasion and first ever fall of Ife, the Ifa civilizational center. The whole civilization would have fallen if not for the 1877 resistance of Ekiti Parapo, the Orisa philosophical fountain of Ifa civilization.

As ASHE Foundation once informed the Edo monarchy of its three 165yr Olokun cycles of seven imperialistic successful kings and seven peace kings since Prince Ogun (Oba Ewuare) initiated the Ogun philosophy to build Edo empire, the new Alaafin must be mindful of what type of leadership consciousness that he initiates in this new Olokun cycle. As noted Oyo’s Ogun philosophy was a response to early 1500s Nupe aggressions, which was employed in the next Olokun cycle of 1684 when Oyo headed seawards to take over Dahomey and slave ports. This Ogun political economy and supremacy mindset like the Lagos brother kings, played into the hands of British colonists that insidiously wanted to balkanized the civilization into tribes with Oyo dialect chosen as the standard language for the regional continuum of dialects that spread across Africa.

This inadvertently succumbed Oyo Atiba collective consciousness to British and Afroasiatic coloniality that has continued to denigrate our civilizational consciousness.

Hopefully Alaafin Owoade will answer his name by bringing back the glory (Owo) to our Olokun dynasty of leadership consciousness. We hope the Alaafin will shield his sword of Ajagungbade supremacy and join other members of the Olokun dynasty to unite the civilization with our scientific spiritualism and meritocratic civilizationism to bring about global racial parity.

Kade pe lori, ki bata pe lese Iku Baba yeye, Kabiyesi oo!
