The Apostolic Faith Church, Ondo State district has rolled out drums for the celebration of its 60th anniversary.
The church was founded in Akure in 1963 with seven members.
The chairman of the anniversary planning committee, Rev Oba Fatoba said the programme will be held at the church auditorium, opposite St. Michael High School, Ijoka Road, Akure.
Rev Fatoba said the Church is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the success and the impact on the lives of the people of the two states.
According to him “there is every cause to thank God for his manifold love and care despite all the threats of the devil over the years. Many people had been saved, sanctified and baptized with the power of the Holy Spirit, also many had been healed of diverse diseases.”
“The Church, which started with seven congregants in 1963 have spread to all the nooks and crannies of Ondo and Ekiti States. It is a Church with an open door and burning message,” he stated.
The cleric expressed thanks to God who has enabled the ministry of Apostolic Faith to “swim and swim through the ocean of life with a glorious story and not a sorry story.”
