Onoyona who contested the seat of the Isoko Federal Constituency during the 2023 general elections said it is only in the atmosphere of peace that a political party can thrive.
He said it’s common for conflict of interest to happen among leaders in any  organisation, as he called on leaders to ensure that peace reigns and the party repositioned strongly for the challenges ahead.
He noted that all those involved in the disagreement over “who gets what, when and how” are eminent, astute, top-notch and respectable party leaders who should know the inherent dangers in opening a crack in the unity that exists in the party.
According to the APC chieftain, the leaders should sheath their swords and allow reasons to prevail, as he urged the National Working Committee, (NWC) and leaders of the party to wadein.
“The task before all APC leaders should be to rescue the state and her citizens from the PDP. The citizens are being strangulated by a clueless government.
We need peace to concentrate towards kicking out the PDP janjaweed from our state,” he said.
He called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu never to lose sight of Delta State as he urged the people of Isoko Federal Constituency to keep faith with God, saying: “2027 shall be a year of recovery, a year the People of Isoko nation would be set free from the shackles of poverty, despondency, illiteracy, and wants. In 2027, Isoko shall make a bold statement within the national space, and we shall be counted and reckoned with. Let’s keep faith and hope alive. The struggle to emancipate the Isoko nation is my life. The hope of my people shall be renewed.”
