The indigenes of Umuezeala, Ogwara in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State are still bewildered how lightening cutoff their community road after a downpour on Tuesday.

A source from the sleepy community told our correspondent that the incident which occurred in the evening have left so many people wondering why the lightening incident which has made the tarred road look like a demarcation happen that particular day.

The mysterious lightening cut a little portion of the road in a straight line culminating at a palmtree beside the road.

“This happened this evening, we don’t know why this happened but we know it does not happen without a reason , why would the lightening divide the road into two and ending at the palmtree beside the road as if it wants to prevent some people from passing”. The source said.

However, no other damage was done beside the cutting of the road but several people from the community strongly believes the lightening was trying to protect them from harm.

Recall that three people from Obidi, Agwa, another community from the State were also killed by lightening penultimate week after a downpour.
