Lovers of good dramas across the globe are in for a swell time, as season 8 of Akpan & Oduma, one of the most popular Nigerian comedy web series featuring guest appearances by prominent skit makers like Baba Rex, Datwarrigirl and Oyibo Rebel, hits YouTube from Monday April 3, 2023.
According to the Managing Director, Wale Adenuga Productions, Wale Adenuga Jnr., producer of Akpan & Oduma, “There is always fun and excitement with the comical duo. The new set of hilarious episodes takes the duo through relatable issues currently trending across Nigeria.”
Each episode of the new season of Akpan & Oduma will debut on Mondays, exclusive to the YouTube channel: ‘waptvchannel’ with over 160 million views and over 500,000 subscribers. Then, the episode will air over the following week on wapTV’s satellite TV platforms: DStv 262, StarTimes 116, GOtv 102, FreeTV 751, PlayTV 275, and MyTV at 9am – 9:15am, with a repeat broadcast at 9pm – 9:15pm Mondays to Thursdays.
This season of Akpan and Oduma also features regular supporting characters like Chief Olododo, Patoski, Sister Bridget, Brother Shangalo and Omonla; and other actors from different parts of Nigeria.
