The Chief Executive Ofϐicer, Myrtle Healthcare, Tamuno Tonte Abban has bagged the prestigious award of Iconic Woman in Global Health at the just concluded African Iconic Women Recognition Awards (AIWRA)

She was honoured along with the Minister of Women Affairs Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, First Lady of Enugu State, Her Excellency, Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah and several other dignitaries.

The award is in recognition of her firm, Myrtle Healthcare’s role in pioneering one of the best privately owned Healthcare Companies in the UK while also utilizing innovative modern technologies and best practices in British and global healthcare sector.

It is one of the series of awards she and her organization has received in recent months. Earlier, she was conferred with Professional Health honour while her Myrtle Healthcare made the list of top 100 emerging global businesses 2025.

Organised by FDN Projects, owners of Face of Democracy Nigeria (FDN), AIWRA award ceremony which has as the theme, ‘Breaking Barriers and Building Legacies’ took place at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.
