The newly appointed Director General of Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON)-Dr. Ifeanyi Okeke, again has admonished Steel manufacturing companies in Nigeria, to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety for better economy.
A press statement from the organisation, Friday, indicated that Dr. Okeke, gave the professional advise when he paid a working visit to Kam Holdings, one of the foremost steel manufacturing companies based in Lagos.
According to the statement, Dr. Okeke and Dr. Kamaru Yusuf engaged in discussions about the role of regulatory bodies like SON in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for steel manufacturing in Nigeria.
The SON DG, reiterated the vital importance of collaboration between regulatory authorities and industry players like KAM Holdings to maintain and enhance product standards.
