Top government officials, economic experts, business leaders, and policymakers from across the African continent are set to converge in Kigali, Rwanda for the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit 2025. The prestigious event will be held from July 4th to 6th at the Marriott Hotel, with the theme: “Leadership Frameworks for Governance, Business Growth, Investment Opportunities and Sustainable Development in Africa.”
Among the high-profile delegates expected at the summit are His Excellency Mallam Umar Namadi, Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Nigeria; Hon. Prof. Mthuli Ncube, Zimbabwe’s Minister of Finance; Dr. Imane Kendili and Dr. Abdelhak Najib from Morocco; Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, Deputy Governor of Edo State, Nigeria; Rt. Hon. Dr. Peter Odey, Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Nigeria; and H.E. Dr. G.D. Singh, Chairman of the Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry, India.
The summit will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions geared toward shaping economic policy, fostering innovation, and building inclusive leadership across Africa.
Speaking to Africa Media Network, Project Director for Africa and summit coordinator, Amb. Dr. Kingsley Amafibe, emphasized the summit’s significance amid Africa’s current economic challenges.
> “Africa is at a pivotal point where collaboration and open dialogue among public and private stakeholders are essential for achieving real economic progress,” Amafibe said. “The summit creates a unique platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and driving innovation.”
The event, hosted annually in different African cities, will also honor individuals with awards such as 100 Most Notable Peace Icons in Africa and 100 Most Notable Women in Africa, recognizing trailblazers in leadership, peacebuilding, entrepreneurship, and public service.
“This year’s gathering will assemble pacesetters across government, academia, business, and civil society to discuss sustainable development, economic prosperity, and peacebuilding for transformative change,” Amafibe added.
Delegates and speakers include Dr. Nimi Briggs (NIMPAT Group), Daniel Moses (Property Wealth Corporation), Ruqayya Tofa-Basheer (Raw Beauty Africa), Hon. Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya (Betterbrands Zimbabwe), and many others from across Africa.
Thematic areas of focus include governance, business innovation, education reform, agriculture, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment — all aimed at job creation and strengthening Africa’s competitiveness on the global stage.
The summit is organized by 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa in collaboration with the Davdan Peace and Advocacy Foundation.
