Innovators and entrepreneurs from Nigeria and different countries in Africa are set to storm Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, for the third edition of the ISF2024 Summit, targeted at creating an avenue for entrepreneurship to meet innovation, especially for the business start-ups.
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is listed among some of Africa’s most influential figures in different sectors that will speak during the summit. The two-day summit will commence on Friday 29th November 2024, at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, towards driving impactful change in Nigeria and across the continent.
The distinguished speakers for ISF2024 Summit also include Dr Tomisin Fashina, from African Development Bank Group; Olu Akanmu from Lagos Business School; Ochanya Dan-Ugo from Unified Payment; Adeleye Fabusoro, Head of West Africa, CNBC; Steven Friedmutter, CEO, SF Ventures; and many others.
A statement issued by the convener of the summit, Mr David Adeleke, and chairperson of the Organising Committee, Ms Zainab Tijani, said the “theme for this year’s edition is ‘Empowering Innovation, Accelerating Growth,’ and it will be held physically at the International Conference Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, and virtually on YouTube.
“ISF Summit 2024 will explore the multifaceted aspects of innovation, highlighting the importance of talent development, digital infrastructure, sustainable business practices, and inclusive growth.”
The statement stated further that the ISF2024 Summit would serve as a pivotal platform for entrepreneurs, technologists, decision-makers, and influencers to come together and engage with the vibrant and evolving business and start-up landscape of Africa.”
