African Alliance Insurance Plc, has reiterated its commitment to timely payment of genuine claims to policyholders in the years ahead even as the Company said it paid over N27.6billion in claims between 2020-2023.
Managing Director/CEO of the firm, Mrs. Joyce Ojemudia, disclosed this at the just concluded strategy session and retreat held by the the company in Lagos.
She said the Company would continue to maintain its position as a beacon of unwavering strength and stability in the Nigeria’s insurance industry as it gears towards 2024 business year amid heightening inflation rate.
Ojemudia affirmed that “with a foundation resting on a bedrock of financial prudence and strategic investments, African Alliance’s success is evident by the lives it has safeguarded, while consistently delivering on a mandate to compensate policy holders as and when due”.
She also avowed that African Alliance is committed to putting the customer first in all its dealings, while ensuring prompt responses and settlement of any issues and claims.
“From 2020 till date, African Alliance has paid out over N27.6billion in genuine claims to customers and remains committed to doing so in the years to come. We wish you maintain and even exceed our consistent 17 per cent increase in claims settlement year on year which we have sustained since 2020.
“It is therefore not far-fetched to say that we stand as a testament of resilience and strength. We are not just a life insurer, but a custodian of trust, safeguarding the dreams and aspirations of countless individuals and families in the society,” she maintained.
