The traditional ruler of Ebem Ohafia in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, Ezie Ukoha Kalu Ukoha, has lauded the Senator representing Abia North at the upper legislative chamber, Orji Uzor Kalu for his remarkable contributions to the development of the Ohafia community.
Speaking at the weekend, Ezie Ukoha recalled Senator Kalu’s efforts in addressing infrastructure challenges of the area, especially in the education sector and roads infrastructure.
He particularly lauded the former governor of Abia State for constructing a modern classroom block at Evan Primary School, Ohafia.
“When I visited the school to see first hand some of its challenges, I was delighted to see the imposing classroom block built by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. It was a timely and impactful project that has significantly uplifted the school and the community.”
Describing Kalu as a leader with a heart for the people, the traditional ruler stated that the senator’s contributions have left a lasting impression on the people of Ohafia in particular, and Abia North in general.
“We cannot thank him enough. His efforts to uplift our community are deeply appreciated. His middle name should be love, as he consistently identifies and addresses problems wherever he finds them,” he said.
Ezie Ukoha said Kalu’s benevolence and dedication to work will always be cherished by his people, and urged him to do more for them.
