Mrs. Otti stated this in Aba during a daily prayer session for successful leadership in Abia organized by LAI. She said that the Otti-led administration was determined to carry women along in the scheme of things for the betterment of the state.

She said it was on this basis she would want her office to partner with the NGO to realize their shared vision of building a prosperous and livable Abia.

“What our women have gathered to do here is in tandem with the biblical injunction that we should pray without ceasing. Therefore, this special prayer session is a continuation and consolidation of what we have been doing over the years, which is praying to God to enable us to reclaim our state and make life better for our people through responsible leadership,” she said.

President of LAI, Bishop Juanita Nwendu, expressed joy at women’s contribution to the change that came in Abia State.
