Annang Royal fathers under the auspices of Afe Nkuku Annang Traditional Council have commended Senate President Godswill Akpabio for the last constituency briefing with massive empowerment of constituents and commissioning of projects across Akwa Ibom North West senatorial district.

In a statement signed by Okuku Nsima Bassey Udo and Umoh Mboho (JP) Okuku Ikpaisong Annang and made available to Journalists in Uyo, the Royal Fathers hailed Akpabio’s empowerment capacity describing it as a testament of his commitment to the welfare of the people.

The statement reads in parts
“The Afe Nkuku Ikpaisong Annang Traditional Council, the apex Annang Socio-Cultural Institution has described president of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio’s Constituency briefing empowerment initiative and project commissioning as outstanding and uncommon.

The Okuku Ikpaisong Annang x Okuku Nsima Bassey Udo Umo Mboho, while hailing the effort said Akpabio’s initiative is a testament of his commitment to the welfare and development of the Annang people.”

It would recalled that Akpabio empowered his constituents with minibuses, tricycles, cassava processing machine, deep freezers, rice, generating sets among others.

Okuku Ikpaisong Annang x added that scholarship for students was part of the efforts at fulfilling his campaign promises.

“Indeed, Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio is doing excellently well to empower the great people of Akwa Ibom.

The Royal fathers praised Akpabio as Ntata Offiong Annang adding that the son of the soil Akpabio has made them happy and proud with his selfless service and commitment to the welfare of the people.

”It is worthy to note that this is the second time he has undertaken a constituency briefing and empowerment program for his constituents since the beginning of the present administration.

“Hence, we, the Afe Nkuku Ikpaisong Annang Traditional Council are solidly in support of the Senate President in his Third Senatorial Ambition to represent the people of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District.”
