The baton of office as the 39th Imaginative President of Rotary Club of Opebi, District 9110, Rotary International, would be officially passed on to Mr. Salami Idris Babatunde on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at the Lagos Country Club, Ikeja.
The induction of the board members for 2022/2023 Rotary Year and fundraiser for club’s projects would be part of the ceremony.
A press statement signed by the chairman of the installation committee, Olu Ogunjobi, stated that part of the activities lined up for the ceremony was the installation lecture, “Serving humanity by being your neighbour’s keeper,” to be delivered by Ahmed Akanbi, a lawyer.
According to the statement, “Rotary Club of Opebi was chartered in 1983 and, today, the club has grown in leaps and bounds and can attest to tens and hundreds of projects executed within the indigent members of the Opebi community.”
