To deliver new Afro pop sounds and introduce fresh artistes into the Nigerian music scene, frontline music executive, Harrison Akadidi on July 30, 2022 signed a management deal with newly established Akunwata Entertainment outfit.
Already, Akunwata Entertainment has signed a sensational musician, Stylezee to its record label. Stylezee has a couple of records on major streaming platforms, including a music video, Move currently making waves on television networks in the country.
Akadidi told The Sun: “This management deal is a significant one for the Nigerian music industry. It is about having the will power to introduce incredible new talents in the Nigerian music scene like Stylezee, to compliment the great works his colleagues are doing on a global scale.
“Looking at Wizkid and Burna Boy or even Davido, what they have achieved on the world stage has paved a way for the next generation, and it’s the reason this management deal is coming at the right time, because Akunwata Entertainment has the resources and Harrison Akadidi has the experience and network to drive Afrobeats to the next phase.”
On his part, Engr. Okwudili, General Manager, Akunwata Entertainment, said: “Nigeria is currently leading Africa in the entertainment space globally and Akunwata needs to play its part to ensure the country retains that dominance and grow bigger.”
