TWO relegation threatened Premiership teams, El-Kanemi Warriors and Ikorodu United, would tomorrow, at the Maiduguri Township Stadium fight to finish in their weekday 13 game to see who runs away with the three maximum points.Ikorodu United who will be without their Captain, Nnedum Francis and striker, Stephen Nwaiwu would heavily depend on their determination instinct to overcome the invading Borno Army.

The Lagos-based outfit has only won one league match out of 12 with six points to show for their efforts.

On the other hand, El-Kanemi, no doubt would be desperate to win tomorrow’s encounter to shore up their 13 points and attempt to stay safe out of relegation murky waters,

Indeed, the match promises to be explosive as both teams talk tough ahead of epic Sunday debacle in faraway Maiduguri town.

Babatunde Ayoola, an Ikorodu Utd official explained that the coaches and team doctors consider the Sunday clash at El Kanemi Warriors as crucial that requires the services of 100 percent fit players. “The coaches are working tirelessly on the attackers to ensure they take their chances at goal at El Kanemi Warriors. “On paper it looks like a tall order for us to claim the three points at stake in the encounter given the tough terrain in Maiduguri as well as the not too comfortable position of the hosts on the table.

“However, we understand that pre-match billing does not at times decide matches but what happens in 90 minutes.
