Just when we thought the brutality has stopped, the #EndSARS campaign has started to heat up again on social media as the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the Nigeria Police have obviously not ended their brutality against innocent citizens.

Lots of innocent Nigerians are still being reportedly victimised.

Before the end of 2017, there was uproar on Twitter and other social media trends shortly after it was reported that some operatives of the SARS of Lagos State Command allegedly shot dead a youth in the Yaba area of the state.

A video, which went viral, showed an angry mob chasing a vehicle used by the operatives after the alleged killing.

Apparently, the re-organisation of SARS across the country, ordered by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Kpotun Idris, as a result of the #EndSARS campaign launched on twitter by Nigerians did not have any effect, as another video of SARS brutalising a lady and her pregnant friend has again surfaced online.

The video showed that the pregnant lady was beaten to coma, while she was later given N30,000 for treatment. There were also pleas that the video be removed online.

The #EndSARS campaign has started buzzing again on social media and Nigerians are heart-broken, causing them to take on twitter. It is rather obvious at this point that the amendment Nigerians are clamoring for to end the SARS brutality would not die down via the uproar on twitter.  What more can be done aside from the uproar on twitter?
