A youth-focused digital media platform, Zikoko, will host Nigeria’s first-ever personal finance and wealth-building event on August 8.

Zikoko, known for its African youth culture content, is transitioning its #NairaLife series from an online feature to a physical gathering, marking a new phase in its financial literacy advocacy.

Tagged, ‘The Naira Life Conference,’ the event, scheduled to hold in Lekki, Lagos, is expected to bring together young professionals, entrepreneurs, investors and thought leaders for conversations around money, career growth and building sustainable wealth.

Speaking on the forthcoming event, Zikoko’s in-house money columnist, Toheeb Lanlehin, said the platform had spent years simplifying complex money conversations for the average Nigerian. He explained that the conference would unite everyone from side hustlers to seasoned investors under one roof to share practical strategies for achieving financial freedom.

In addition to the main sessions, the conference will host interactive money clinics, hands-on workshops, panel discussions with industry leaders, and structured networking sessions aimed at connecting participants with peers, mentors, and potential investors.

Organisers said the event is open to all Nigerians who are either looking to take control of their finances or scale their professional journey.

It urged interested participants to save the date, adding that further details on registration and the full speaker lineup would be announced in the coming weeks
