In a bid to equip Nigerian youths with life-saving emergency response skills, the Dr. Obe Charity Foundation announces a free Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training session for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members at the Kubwa Orientation Camp, Abuja.

The training held June 19, 2025, with the aim to build awareness and preparedness among young Nigerians in responding to medical emergencies, particularly cardiac arrest and respiratory failure.
The President of the Dr. Obe Charity Foundation, describes the initiative as a crucial step in empowering corps members with knowledge that goes beyond academic and professional development.
“Every Nigerian should know how to save a life,” she says. “With CPR skills, our youth can make a difference during emergencies — whether on the road, in schools, or in their communities.
This training is about giving back and creating responsible leaders.”
The event is organized at no cost to participants and is open exclusively to corps members currently undergoing orientation in the Federal Capital Territory.
Attendees benefit from practical, hands-on CPR demonstrations and instructions on emergency response protocols.
The training also features interactive sessions with certified instructors, and participants stand a chance to win various goodies and incentives, in appreciation of their commitment to learning life-saving techniques.
