A renowned businessman, Jim Okolo Chimezie has commiserated with a National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Hon Ken Ukeagu on the death of his beloved mother.
Elder Mrs. Chinyere Margaret Ukeagu passed away at the age of 76 and was recently laid to rest at her home town, Umuegwu Okpuala in Umuahia, Abia State.
In a condolence message, Jim Okolo said late elder Mrs. Ukeagu was an embodiment of sacrifice who committed her time and resources in serving her community and playing a mentorship role to girls and young mothers.
He said her death is a huge loss not only to her community but women folk in general where she made humongous impact as a mother figure and a leader.
He therefore urged the bereaved family, especially Hon Ken Ukeagu whom he said he has known in the past ten years to take heart over the huge loss.
Hon. Ukeagu was among the 6 National Commissioners who along with the INEC Chairman, Yakubu Mahmood conducted the 2023 Presidential Election that brought President Bola Tinubu to power.
