… To engage boys as allies for girls

To commemorate the International Day of the Boy Child, Beyond the Classroom Foundation, through its Beyond Her Odds Initiative (BHOI), successfully launched the He for Her Campaign, a project focused on engaging boys as allies and protectors of girls.

The campaign launch, which ran from 15th to 17th May 2025, reached over 5,000 boys across seven secondary schools in Abuja during the Amplify School Tour. During the sessions, boys were reminded that they are strong and powerful and that this strength can be used to protect, uplift, and support girls, not to harm them.

The campaign emphasized that boys can choose to be allies and protectors rather than perpetrators.
Beyond educating boys on girls’ rights, fairness, and respect, the sessions encouraged positive masculinity and the importance of standing up for girls’ safety and dignity.
