•Ahead of Ghana Jollof Derby
There are now as many as 20 players in the Super Eagles training camp in London ahead of tomorrow’s Jollof Derby against perennial rival, Black Stars of Ghana.
The players include 10 players from the NPFL led by Ahmed Musa as well as Europe-based pros like Moses Simon, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Frank Onyeka, Nathan Tella, Cyriel Dessers and new call-up Felix Agu.
Werder Bremen leftback, Agu 25, has been cleared to play for the Super Eagles.
Nigeria will be without Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman as well as the Fulham duo of Alex Iwobi and Cavin Bassey, while Mohammed Kudus, Thomas Partey and Antoine Semenyo.
Nigeria beat the Black Stars 2-1 the last time both rivals clashed in a friendly in Morocco March 2024.
