Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United’s captain, has ruled out leaving the club during the summer transfer window following their UEFA Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham overcame Manchester United 1-0 in Bilbao to win the Europa League on Wednesday night.
Brennan Johnson scored the game’s only goal during the first half.
Speaking to the media after the game, the Portugal midfielder insisted that he wants to stay at Manchester United.
The 30-year-old, however, didn’t ruled out the possibility of leaving the Red Devils if the Premier League club ‘want to make some money’.
“I will be here until the club tells me it is time to leave,” Fernandes said.
“If the club thinks it’s time to leave, because they want to make some money, that is what it’s and football is like that sometimes.”
Fernandes, meanwhile, has attracted interest from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal this summer.
