Fresh off his national win as Misters of Nigeria 2025, Somto Alexander Nnoruga is preparing to take things global. The model, entrepreneur, and social advocate has been officially confirmed to represent Nigeria at the prestigious Manhunt International pageant, set to take place in Thailand next month.
Manhunt International is the world’s longest-running international male modeling competition, known for launching global modeling careers and spotlighting young men who combine physical presence with intelligence, charisma, and impact. This year, delegates from over 30 countries will gather in Thailand for a week of high-stakes competition, grooming, media appearances, and the grand finale event.
For Somto, this is a mission. “It’s not just about representing Nigeria on a stage. It’s about showing the world the kind of men this country produces; bold, brilliant, and grounded in purpose,” he said about of his competition.
Somto brings with him more than just runway appeal. As a professional model, he’s worked with numerous household fashion brands across Africa. But his profile extends beyond the catwalk. He’s the founder of Bougie Interiors and Apartments, a rising lifestyle brand that focuses on luxury short-term rentals and contemporary home design. He’s also the creator of the Build Together Project, a community-led housing initiative currently addressing affordable housing challenges across Nigeria through campaigns, home repair efforts, and shelter programs.
Should he win, Somto would make history as Nigeria’s first-ever Manhunt International champion, a title that comes with a global modeling contract, brand endorsements, and international visibility across fashion and media markets.
