President Bola Tinubu has paid glowing tribute to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on his 65th birthday, hailing the former Abia State governor’s unwavering patriotism and transformative impact on Nigeria’s political and economic landscape.

In a statement marking the milestone, issued by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu extolled the former Majority Whip’s unwavering patriotism, recalling decades of collaboration marked by mutual respect, even with political differences.

He reflected on their enduring friendship, rooted in their days as members of the “Class of ‘99” governors. Tinubu lauded Kalu’s entrepreneurial spirit, as epitomised in his establishment of Slok Holding and investments in banking and the media, ventures that have created hundreds of jobs.
