The prosecutor, ASP Simon Uche, told the court that the defendant committed the offences on February 24, 2025 at New Planet Resort, located at Aka Road, in Ajangbadi.

He alleged that the defendant also threatened to kill one Mr. Sunday Nwobodo, Director of the hotel, because he had restrained him from selling the drugs on the hotel’s premises.

The offence contravenes the provisions of Section 168 (d) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.

The court granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum. Layeni adjourned the case until April 24, 2025, for hearing.
