Former Anambra Governor Peter Obi and ex-Inspector General of Police Mike Okiro paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Chief Edwin Clark in Abuja.

Daily Sun reported that Ebikeme Clark disclosed how his father died following news of his demise on Tuesday.

Per online reports, Obi arrived at the residence of the late elder statesman around 4 pm, with former IGP Okiro entering moments later.

While signing the condolence register, Okiro penned: “We lost a father, we lost a gem. May your soul rest in peace.”

Other prominent Nigerians who paid a visit to the late Clark’s residence include the Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Seriake Dickson, a former Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Senator James Manager, and a former Kaduna State Governorship Candidate in the 2023 general elections, Jonathan Asake.

Others are former Head of the Civil Service, Prof Oladapo Afolabi; Head of Store Management, Office of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Ambassador Kem Ajieh; President of the Middle Belt Forum, Dr Pogu Bitrus; Mrs Regina Omo-Agege, among others.
