Popular Nigerian skit-maker Clintianoo, whose real name is Clinton Monday Ovuakporaye, has opened up about why he has chosen not to further his education.

The digital sensation on Tiktok disclosed that his thriving skit-making career has been his primary focus since completing his senior secondary school education in 2020.

Speaking to a group of fans during a recent meet-and-greet in Lagos, Clintianoo said, “I’m grateful for how far I’ve come. Right after my secondary school exams, I dived into skit-making, and by God’s grace, it has been flourishing. At this point, I’ve decided to channel all my energy into my career.”

His decision, he explained, stems from his desire to tell compelling stories and carve a niche for himself in the fast-evolving digital space.

Born on December 2, 2002, in Lagos, Nigeria, Clinton Monday Ovuakporaye hails from Isoko in Delta State. He spent his early years in Lagos, attending Tendermate Nursery and Primary School, where he graduated in 2013. His secondary education journey began at Jubilee Model Junior Grammar School Sabo, Lagos, from which he graduated in 2017. He completed his senior secondary education at Coker Senior Secondary School in Lagos in 2020.

It was after receiving his senior secondary school certificate that Clintianoo discovered his passion for skit-making. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a full-fledged career.

Clintianoo’s skits, according to him, are influenced by his desire to tell stories in unique ways.
