Olusola Ebiseni, the Labour Party candidate in the November 16 Ondo governorship election, says the race is between his party and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking in an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Ebiseni stated that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) doesn’t stand a chance in the poll.

“This election is going to be about two political parties and their administration.

“There is no PDP in this election. This election is between the Labour Party and the APC. Agboola Ajayi of the PDP was Akeredolu’s first-time deputy governor. Aiyedatiwas of the APC was Akeredolu’s second-term deputy governor, now the incumbent governor.

“If you want to assess their credibility and performance, you will assess them; you will assess the Akeredolu government and the roles they played,” he said.

Ebiseni further pointed out that his experience as a former local government chairman and commissioner under the Mimiko administration makes him suited for the governorship position.
