From Okey Sampson, Umuahi

Eze Chigaemezu Onwuchekwa, the traditional ruler of the Umuhu-Ezechi clan of the Umuokwe autonomous community in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, has lauded Governor Alex Otti and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for their developmental strides.

Speaking in a chat, Eze Onwuchekwa said both Governor Otti and Senator Kalu have done wonderfully well in turning the state around for good.

The traditional ruler in commending Otti recalled the numerous road projects his administration has undertaking since coming into office.

He mentioned some of the roads to include Port Harcourt Road and others in Aba and the Umuahia-Uzuakoli-Akara-Ohafia, among others in the area.

He equally gave kudos to the governor for offsetting arrears of pension owed to pensioners in the state and embarking on the clearing of salary arrears of workers of tertiary institutions owed by the previous administrations.
