In a dramatic twist of event, a suspected male scammer who was alleged to be involved in false pretense scam escaped on January 5, 2018 from a police vehicle on motion while on it’s way to a remand facility in Lagos.
The suspect, Aranna Momoh, 26 year old was arrested by the security operatives in Lagos following a complaint lodged by one Mr. Ebo Efosa, who accused him of stealing a car during a transaction for which they reportedly had an agreement.
It was said that Aranna Momoh who was wearing black T-Shirt and faded Jeans trousers as at the time of arrest, played a fast move when the patrol van he was been conveyed with slowed down at a pothole portion of the road.
The suspect quickly jumped out of the moving vehicle and escaped into the dark night with speed.
It was also noted by the security that ever since Aranna Momoh escaped from the moving patrol van, all attempts to re-arrest him proved abortive. In the meantime, the police placed an alert notice, charging the public to report any trace of the suspect to the nearest security post or contact police directly.
The police however warn the public about approaching Aranna with caution, as he is suspected to be dangerous and deadly.
