The Uma-Okoro Foundation marked its 10th anniversary with this year’s basketball camp at the Warriors Basketball Courts in Ilupeju, Lagos, continuing its mission to support underprivileged children. Founder of the Uma-Okoro Foundation emphasized the camp’s role in fostering unity, empathy, love, hard work, and competition.

He noted the strong engagement and enthusiasm from the campers. “Campers had fun and improved their skills in shooting, dribbling, and teamwork. There was increased participation from local schools, states, and communities. Campers received recognition and awards, making themselves and their teams proud. Smooth operations, including scheduling, communication, and safety measures, contributed to the overall success.”

The Foundation’s community outreach program also benefited children in Amuwo Odofin, providing them with food items, clothes, shoes, books, and chocolates.
