In what could be described as the most significant operational failure of the US Secret Service in decades, the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump escaped the assassin’s bullet by the whiskers at his Butler Pennsylvania rally when an untrained 20-year-old gunman named Mathew Crooks nicked his ear with an AR-5. Two persons died in the unfortunate incident – the gunman who was sent back to his creator by a sniper bullet to the forehead and a rally attendee felled by the assassin’s bullet.
The death of the gunman had made it more difficult to establish a motive for the attack, thus raising more questions and giving room to speculations.
I guess a lot of people, will not want to see DJT come back as the 47th President, but who wants him dead and why? Iran, the deep state or the globalists who see him as a disrupter?
Though, not completely safe from future attacks, Trump was lucky to be alive to tell the story of what seemed like a giant mosquito nicking his ear. God was with him and he acknowledged this much. In his first public appearance after the incident. He told the RNC rally: ‘I was not supposed to be here but God was with me’. That’s true. He was almost killed.
Some US presidents had been shot and killed in the past but hardly was a presidential candidate the victim of such attack. Thank God former President Trump is alive and Iran must be thankful, because the CIA would have sexed up a report indicting that nation. The United States would have had a reason to invade Iran and hunt down the Mullahs and Ayatollahs. Children, women, civilians would have been put into harm’s way. Iran has their stars to thank.
I for one never believed the CIA reported intelligence that Iran was plotting to assassinate former President Trump. Iran may despise Trump for his policies towards them. They may wish he isn’t re-elected as president, but they also know better than plotting to assassinate the former US president on American soil or even outside. Should that be the case, the United States will unleash the dogs of war that will wipe out the regime and a good number of the population. The world just averted what would have been a third world war.
While we hold Crooks responsible for the failed assassination, we must not forget that the far-left democrats, the media, globalists and their enablers actually set the stage for deranged people like him.
Not many people would survive all the push, shoves, tackles and bruises he has suffered and survive it. It is amazing that he is still standing as president. To me, he is the kind of leader the United States and the world needs at this moment. He is a strong man. As president, they severally impeached him for political gains other than any serious abuse of office. Outside office, they brought all manners of charges against him with the most ridiculous being the New York hush money case. This is a case legal experts argue that should have never been brought before a judge, yet all the 34 charges stuck, none failed due to abuse and weaponization of the US justice system. The abuse of the DOJ made America look like any other banana republic. His granddaughter Kai Trump acknowledged this much during her speech at the RNC convention. ‘Lots of people have put my grandpa through hell, ’ she told the audience.
Even as he was almost killed, Trump remained strong and defiant. The moment came and he fitted very well into the moment. The president of the free world should be a leader, should be strong and be able to walk through anything. He got shot in the ear, stands up, raises his fist while the secret service was trying to drag him off the stage. Left to decide, he doesn’t want to leave the stage. With the blood flowing from his ear and splashed across his face, he would wish to fight, fight and fight to the very end.
The last election, my son who is a US citizen, voted against Trump despite my persuasion that he vote for the former president, but after the shooting, he called me to announce that he now supports Trump and would vote for him because he understands we need to make America and the world strong, safe and prosperous.
I asked him again why the sudden shift in his political position. He told me that Harris for President is a joke like Biden for 2nd Term. He said the Democratic Party is the most hypocritical party; that for several years they lied to the American people that Joe Biden is fit for office and can sustain another 4 years in the oval office; that his mental and cognitive acuity were super, whereas Joe isn’t even aware of himself and has no presence of mind to take care of himself, not to talk of taking care of America and keeping the world safe.
Like Obama would say about his long-time pal “Joe is capable of screwing up anything’. He screwed up Afghanistan, screwed up Ukraine, embolden Iran and Hamas and finally screwed up the presidency. Rather than quit peacefully and allow the DNC to chat a proper pathway to choose a new candidate, he instead endorsed Harris for the top job, and no one and not even Harris herself knows what she stands for on any issue. The one single role given to her as Vice President was to fix the border crisis, she failed woefully in that. If she cannot fix the border, then she can’t fix America, my son quipped. If Harris is going to continue with Biden’s globalist agenda, the world and the United States will be in a deeper mess.
The plot to eliminate Trump was all part of a script designed to create confusion and install another deep state and globalist candidate as president of United States to continue in perpetuating evil under the guise of the new world order. Democrats and the media brought Trump’s derangement syndrome to a fever peach. They created the atmosphere that cultivated Trump’s enemies who now wish him dead. His voters were called deplorable. Without proof, they labelled him close to modern-day Hitler and danger to democracy. A swathe of the mainstream and fake news media made their gullible audience to believe the lies. They invented the collusion with Russia hoax and also called him racist. They launched the spurious lawfare against him, including the unfounded claim of treason for the June 6 invasion of the congress by demonstrators who felt the election was stolen.
As a Nigerian, I am against our porous Northern border which had made it easy for terrorists and extremists to infiltrate our country. These infiltrators turned bandits are killing the indigenous people while the government looked the other way. In fact, President Buhari, rather than fight the insurgents, advised us to learn how to live in harmony with the bandits. So, we are doing just that and yet it’s not working out. So, I can relate with Trump’s border policy to protect and safeguard America from terrorists. Trump is an immigrant and not against legal migration into United Sates. No civilization will survive with influx of millions of undocumented illegal immigrants.
As President, both America and the world were better off. There was no war in Ukraine and none between Israel and Hamas. So, I don’t still comprehend how a president that in four years worked for world peace will lead us into a world war, whereas under Biden’s watch, the Ukraine and Russia war commenced, Israel is fighting with Hamas. Iran and Hezbollah are doing everything to expand the war.
I don’t have a vote in the US November election. If I do have, I would vote for the badass called Donald Trump. Meanwhile, I am pleased that my son will vote for Trump.
