A group, the Concerned Citizens of the six geopolitical zones, (CCSGZ ) has described terrorist leader and fugitive, Bello Turji Kachalla’s allegation against the Minister of State for Defence, Dr Bello Matawalle of being one of the sponsors of banditry in Zamfara state as a lie from the pit of hell.
President of the group, Bassey Ayanga in a statement,said the wanted terrorist was only playing the script of the self-acclaimed owners of Zamfara state,who relishes terrorism, as the group challenged the terrorist leader and kidnap kingpin to surrender himself to the authority rather than turning himself to the devil’s advocate.
He accused Turji of being a blood thirsty serial murderer who is serving the interest and under the protection of questionable characters.
“Those who formed a wall of protection around Turji,are the main culprits in the reign of bloody banditry that is fast subsuming the good people of Zamfara state in particular, and North Western states in general. When Dr. Matawalle was in the saddle, we vividly recall that his first 100 days in the office as governor were crime free, zero banditry, while all critical stakeholders applauded his gallantry and visionary leadership.
“After holding his first meeting with stakeholders, and accord was reached to promote peace and tranquility in the state, Turji and his gangs including his sympathisers were then fast fizzling out of their criminal enterprise, but for those who feast in the blood of innocents, banditry would have been a thing of the past in that state.”
