Talented music trio, DJ Tarico, Nelson Tivane and Preck, popularly known as Yaba Buluku Boyz and George Beke, founder of Geobek Entertainment, on their recent visit to the US Embassy in Maputo, Mozambique, have vowed to preserve the Mozambican cultural heritage.
The visit aligns with Geobek’s pan-African mission to close the long-standing divide between the best musicians in Africa and the undiscovered artistes on the continent, for a chance in the big leagues.
During the visit, the creators of the global hit, Yaba Buluku had the opportunity to explore the new US Embassy building, as well as appreciate the art works therein.
While discussing the future of the creative industry, challenges, opportunities, and their upcoming projects under the direction of Geobek, the music stars lent their voices to the Embassy’s initiatives in promoting and preserving the unique culture of Mozambique, while creating sustainable opportunities for future talents in the country.
According to Beke, “This is yet another testament to my commitment to elevating Mozambican culture to the highest level through the Geobek Standard project, and I promise that much more would follow soon.”
