Portugal’s national team captain Cristiano Ronaldo predicts a tight struggle with France in the Euro 2024 quarterfinals.
After defeating Slovenia in the round of 16, Ronaldo and his teammates will face Kylian Mbappe-led France in the tournament’s next stage.
On Friday, they will face off in the Euro 2024 quarterfinals at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg.
“We’re going to have a tough game now against France, which is one of the favourites to win,” Ronaldo said at his post-match press conference on Monday.
“But we go to war, the team is fine and I will always do my best with this sweater. ”
It should be recalled that Portugal won the 2016 European Championship, with Ronaldo leading as captain.
