General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, Lazarus Muoka, has prayed for the restoration of the nation’s economy.
Muoka prayed for the country’s restoration when Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu visited the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos, during the bi-annual faith revival programme of the church.
Represented by his Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayorinde, the governor expressed hope that continued prayer will attract divine intervention that would make the state better, while promising that his administration would continue to provide an enabling environment for business to flourish.
“As a government, our policies will remain people-oriented. It is our duty to engender policies that will make people attain self-actualisation. The church, since its inception, has remained a rallying destination for uplift of souls,” he said.
He, therefore, charged worshippers to pray fervently for the state and the nation at large.
In response, Muoka commended Sanwo-Olu for his effort to attend his church.
He said: “We want to say we appreciate your coming, and we, as a body of Christ, we want to pray again for the governor and Nigeria because you are the governor representing the state and the nation.
“We pray for the Federal Government that God almighty will help them come out of these challenges to the glory of the living God, that we shall have peace, progress, and that the economy will grow once again as we desired.”
The event attracted worshippers from Nigeria, Africa and the world at large, and also it featured deliverance, testimonies and revivals.
