Nigeria’s representative of a musical and interactive platform, Vibrer, Doris Iwunze, has explained how the digital hub would strengthen the country’s entertainment industry.
Iwunze, who addressed journalists yesterday in Abuja during Vibrer’s launch explained that the virtual platform would bridge the gap between artistes and fans.
According to her, budding but indigent artistes could leverage on the global presence of Vibrer to hone and showcase their talents, seamlessly.
Aside that, she said artistes could earn money from the streaming of their artistic works and directly interact with their audience.
“It is founded by three persons. It is a social media platform with a blend of music and interaction. It is a platform for artistes to showcase their talents. There is also a place for artistes who have arrived to showcase their talents, also.
“In addition, artistes can earn money while showcasing their talents. Fans can also meet their favorite artistes through Vibrer. I am not sure we have ever had a blend of social interaction and music streaming.
“So, this two options will drive the music industry. We do all genres of music, content creation. There is a place for music influencers, DJs and dancers.
“So, you have a pool of options depending on your kind of music. We are bringing a platform where young musicians especially those without sponsors can find a place they can showcase their talents and reach a very large audience.
“We are based in Dubai. Vibrer is global. It is internet based. We have presence in Europe and Nigeria. We are still expanding. We are going to their entire globe.
“Vibrer goes beyond the confines of a typical social media application. It is a comprehensive platform endowed with social media functionalities, yet it stands out as a sanctuary for music lovers.
“Vibrer is not just a space; it’s a vibrant community dedicated to exclusive music-based content, designed to empower artistes and showcase their talents in a world that is fully immersed in music.”
She disclosed that, “currently underway on our platform is the inaugural Vibrer Singing Contest, a testament to Vibrer’s commitment to fostering a vibrant community of music enthusiasts and talented artists.
“This contest exemplifies our dedication to providing users with dynamic opportunities for engagement, talent showcase, and community participation.”
On lives concerts by artistes, she said: “At Vibrer, we are setting the stage for a new era in live music with our Interactive Live Concerts feature-a cornerstone of our platform that promises to redefine the live entertainment industry.
