The former First Lady of Lagos State, Senator Fatimat Raji-Rasaki, has expressed grief over the sudden death of the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Barrister Paul Omotoso.

The former lawmaker who represented
Ekiti Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly in her condolence message on Saturday, commiserated with the family of the deceased, the Governor of the state, Biodun Oyebanji, the APC family in Ekiti and the people of the state, describing the late Omotoso as a humble, resourceful and committed party leader.

According to the politician of note, Omotoso’s death is a huge loss to the APC and Ekiti State at large. He died at a time when the party needed him the most.

“I want to use this medium to express my heartfelt condolences to our governor, Biodun Oyebanji, the APC family and the immediate family of the deceased.

“Omotoso’s leadership has engendered peace and progress in the party in Ekiti. He was a leader who believed in participatory politics and all inclusive governance.

” I pray God Almighty grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. It is indeed a huge loss to us in Ekiti,” Raji-Rasaki said.
